the problem raised by author requires immediate redressal . It is irony that on one side that entire machinery involved in imparting training to future doctors talk high of their achievements but fail to come out with ground reality. By raising such issues author has acted positively towards improvement in health delivery system.

Medical Council of India was established to monitor quality of
medical education in country. It was given status of an autonomous
body BUT without teeth. It is just a recommendatory body and has
nothing to do with the implementation of its recommendations to the
government of india and sometimes even state governments do not
implement recommendations coz of their political compulsions. The
delay in justice could have been due to the complications involved in
the situation. For example if MCI recommends de-recognition of MBBS
at a medical college in UP to GOVT. of India and state government
continues giving admissions to its students at that particular
medical college than its the weekness of political will to act upon
for improving situation. the medical education is not a very
important issue to get benifits in general elections. The people of
India though they may be educated but are legal illiterates. the step
taken by Prof.(Dr.) Mukesh Yadav and others will definitly be a very
revolutionary effort to improve the situation and this will help in
starting a new KRANTI against the insensitive and callous attitude
of policy maker who themselves consider as GODS OF MEDICAL EDUCATION.
for this purpose I feel there is a need to establish linkage between
the parents and faculty itself specially those who are from private
medical colleges.
This is a high time to WAKE - UP and MOVE TOWARDS A BRIGHT FUTURE of
medical education.

your article explains why Indians ruling the world in education and research abroad are not recognised here. the callousness and negligence of Authorities who do not want to rise above petty politics and self centreness having no responsibility and insensitive govrernment only awakening on strikes and protests. need to be shown STICK by judiciary system. I wish to add that Judiciary should abolish all such bodies and department who fail to act in time on crucial topuics as one you have raised.
