Pakistan using peace talks as a cheap publicity stunt
Posted : Monday, July 19, 2010 By : Abhilash Thadhani

Every time Indo-Pak talks take place, Pakistan uses it as a cheap publicity stunt. No one “except our over optimist politicians” believe that Pakistan is serious about friendly ties with India. When Vajpayee invited Musharraf to Agra, he held a live press conference and tried to gain notoriety. Now Qureshi has tried to show his one-upmanship by making absurd comments.

This question has been asked innumerable times and I am forced to ask it again – Why is India’s foreign policy so weak? Whether it is China or Pakistan, they always humiliate India and surprisingly our politicians take it lying down.

India must adopt a simple, straight forward and single point policy towards Pakistan – return of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir “POK” to India. Stop all contacts – business, sports & travel till Pakistan stops support to all terrorist group and we get concrete evidence of it.
